In Home Private Dog Training
Private in-home lessons help with barking, jumping, pulling, not listening, potty training, coming when called, confidence building, reactivity, aggression, resource guarding, shy dogs, fearful dogs, anxious dogs, and impulse control.
Our in-home service area is Newport Beach, Newport Coast, Costa Mesa, Irvine, Huntington Beach and other cities in Orange County.
Consultation
All Training Starts with a Consultation
We identify your goals and understand your dog’s specific challenges. During the consult, you will understand how dogs learn and communicate so that you don’t accidentally encourage bad behavior. After the consultation, you will receive a customized training plan with a recommended number of lessons to reach your goal. Each lesson is done in your home or nearby park.
Th consult is 60 – 90 minutes – $200

Puppy Training
Start your puppy off right and prevent future behavior issues.
Focus areas:
Potty Training, Jumping, Biting, Crate Training, Pulling on the Leash, Socialization
Customized training plan tailored to your goals. Each lesson is 60 minutes and done at your home or nearby park. Training lessons are Coaching (we teach you how to train your dog side-by-side) or Day Training (we train your dog for you).
Training packages: 5 – 15 private training lessons ($875 – $2400).

Reactive Dog Training, Aggression, Behavior Issues
Reactivity, Leash Aggressions, Separation Anxiety, Resources Guarding & Aggression
You’ll receive a customized training plan to reach your goals with your dog. Each lesson is 60 minutes and done at your home or near by park. Training lessons are Coaching (we teach your how to train your dog side-by-side) or through Day Training (we train your dog for you).
Training packages: 8, 12, 16 lessons ($1440 – $2560)

Online Program & Remote Dog Training
Not in Orange County? I offer remote training and coaching.
You don’t have to live in Irvine, Newport Beach, or Costa Mesa to get expert help with your reactive or anxious dog.
Many of my clients work with me virtually from across the country because they want a structured, science-based approach and real guidance—not generic advice.
Reactive dogs can absolutely improve with remote support.
In fact, most of the work happens at home and in your everyday environment. Remote coaching allows me to guide you in real time while you practice with your dog in the situations that matter most.
This option is ideal if you:

Where does dog training take place?
In home private lessons are done at your home or local park. Fashion Island or the Corona Del Mar bluff’s are popular places to work with dogs if you want distractions.
What is Day Training?
A dog trainer will come to your home and train your dog without you during. You can be home or at work. We’ll come several times a week. This is best for busy pet parents, intense programs, or those who want quick results.
What is Coaching?
Coach is where we work together and I teach you how to train your dog. It’s what most people think of when they hear private dog training. You will practice in between lessons.
Can I mix Day Training and Coaching?
Yes, a hybrid program is very effective and successful. It’s the best of both worlds.
Do you do a Board & Train?
No, we find that Day Training is more effective since the dog learns in his home environment and neighborhood.
Do you use prong collars or shock collars?
No, as a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, I sign a Code of Ethics agreeing only to use methods that do not cause pain or discomfort.
