Training your dog starts with you. Learn the 3 main reasons why dogs misbehave, so that you don’t make the problems worse. We’ll evaluate your dog and identify the root cause of the problems and send you a specific plan tailored to your dog. All training starts here.

In Home Training

Private in-home coaching. We come to you and work with you and your dog. This program is great of pet parent that have more time to train their dog. You can do a Hybrid with Day Training as well.

Day Training

We train your dog for you at your home. This program is great for busy pet parents. We come to your home 3 – 4 days a week to train your dog in their environment. You will maintain what your dog learns.

DIY or Virtual

Learn how to train your dog on your own by following step-by-step tutorials with no steps skipped. These programs cover what is taught in private lesson or group classes. This is perfect for puppy parents or a reactive dogs that have a smaller budget for dog training. Learn at your convenience and have fun training your dog.

Consultation

All Training Starts with a Consultation

We will identify your goals and understand your dog’s specific challenges. During the consult, you will understand how dogs learn and how dogs communicate so that you don’t accidentally encourage bad behavior. After the consultation, you will receive a customized training plan with a recommended number of lessons to reach your goal. Each lesson is done in your home or nearby park.

Bernie

We LOVE Sherry! Our dog Bernie has a couple of issues: he’s reactive to other dogs while on leash, and he is a bit toy obsessed. We actually got to the point where we couldn’t even take Bernie on walks anymore, because he would bark at every single dog he saw. We were pretty much at our wits’ end. Luckily, we found Sherry and she has taught Bernie to be a calm dog while he’s on leash and sees other dogs passing him.

It has been a complete turnaround for him! This was really hard for Bernie, but with Sherry’s calm, patient training, he has done awesome!! We continue to practice with him every time we’re on a walk.

Sherry’s method of training is the best! No yelling, no punishment. Just positive reinforcement and reward for completing whatever the task may be. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sherry as a trainer. We love her and will continue to use her for all our pooches!! Thank you Sherry!!!!

Where does dog training take place?

In home private lessons are done at your home or local park.

What is Day Training?

A dog trainer will come to your home and train your dog without you during. You can be home or at work. We’ll come several times a week. This is best for busy pet parents, intense programs, or those who want quick results.

What is Coaching?

Coach is where we work together and I teach you how to train your dog. It’s what most people think of when they hear private dog training. You will practice in between lessons.

Can I mix Day Training and Coaching?

Yes, a hybrid program is very effective and successful. It’s the best of both worlds.

Do you do a Board & Train?

No, we find that Day Training is more effective since the dog learns in his home environment and neighborhood.

Do you use prong collars or shock collars?

No, as a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, I sign a Code of Ethics agreeing only to use methods that do not cause pain or discomfort.
