You don’t have to live in survival mode with your dog. I know how overwhelming it can feel, because I’ve been there too.
Over ten years ago, my life changed overnight when my mom suddenly passed away. I was grieving, overwhelmed, and trying to hold everything together when a friend gave me a puppy. I thought she would bring comfort and stability. Instead, she was hyper, barky, and stressful. I had just started a demanding job, and I felt like I had taken on more than I could handle.
My first instinct was to give up. But something in me said, try one more thing.
So I started learning. I read, studied, and tested different methods. In the process, I made plenty of mistakes. When Sadie’s behavior escalated, I added a second dog, Robi, who became a foster fail. Suddenly, I had two reactive dogs. Walks were exhausting and embarrassing. They lunged and barked at every dog. People stared. I felt judged, frustrated, and defeated.
But deep down, I knew there had to be a better way. One that felt humane, effective, and something I could be proud of.
I committed to understanding behavior at a deeper level. I learned that most struggles are not about disobedience. They’re about fear, stress, and emotional overwhelm. When you change how a dog feels, the behavior begins to change naturally.
That discovery changed everything.
Today, I specialize in helping overwhelmed dog owners transform reactive and anxious behavior into calm, confident partnerships using a structured, science-based approach rooted in positive reinforcement and emotional conditioning.
If you’ve tried other trainers, feel stuck, or wonder if life with your dog will always feel this stressful, you’re not alone. And you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.
If you’re ready for real, lasting change, I’m here to guide you.
